Class Structure

The priority for our Board of Trustees is to have three classrooms operating at Waiwera South School, which at the moment requires the Board to fund a teacher.

In our Junior Room with Miss Holden we have year 0-2 with 10 students.
In our Middle Room with Miss Chapman we have year 3 - 5 with 16 students.
In our Senior Room with Mrs Cleghorn and Mrs Bissett we have year 6-8 with 17 students.

We love our small class sizes here at Waiwera South School and with the Board of Trustees funding a third teacher this continues to happen, ensuring our students get quality time with their teachers which is crucial to their learning and development.
