The Waiwera South School & District celebrated their 150th anniversary with a Reunion on the 15th - 17th February 2019, it was a fabulous milestone to commemorate!

At the event we launched the very informative district book detailing the last 30 years of the area.  "Our Kids" written by the wonderful Helen Telford.  This book followed on from our previous 121st reunion book "From The Days of Our Glory" written by Ruth Telford).

​On Friday the 15th February at 7:30pm, we will be launching Helen Telford's book 'Our Kids, Waiwera South School, The Heart of the Community 1989-2019'. 

This wonderful book is on sale throughout the school office for $40 if you wish to purchase one.
"Our Kids"  is a great memento of life at Waiwera South.
