Parents Plus
The Parents Plus group is an integral part of our school. Parents Plus is a group of parents that acts as an important link between home and school. Parents Plus meetings can be used as an avenue for consultation between school and the parent community.
The members of Parents Plus work hard to fundraise money for our school. They carry out a variety of fundraising activities throughout the year. You do not have to be a parent to be part of the group. Anybody in the community who would like to support Waiwera South School is welcome.
Some of the previous projects supported by the Parents Plus group include: the swimming pool upgrade, classroom furniture, library books, and donations towards school camps, bus and swimming costs. We are very appreciative of the fundraising efforts of this group.
The group meets roughly once a term and all are welcome to attend. If you would like more information about our Parents Plus Group, please contact the school office.
