Turf/Bike Track Opening and Baleage Drive Barbecue!

We have been waiting patiently and watching our bike track progress, we are super lucky that is is finally finished!  At just on 500m around the loop, we can clock up a few kilometres in a day!
​On Friday, May 7th we officially opened our bike track and the multipurpose turf.  We combined this with our school Baleage Drive auction and a community barbecue.  It was a fantastic evening to celebrate the new assets at school and a way to thank our wonderful and supportive community - here are just a few of the pictures of some of the fun we had. 
Family bike relays, a hobby horse obstacle race and a community netball game led the evening which we followed up with the Baleage auction and barbecue.
Again we would like to thank all of those who have supported these initiatives; The Trusts Community Foundation, AJ & MC Begg Charitable Trust, Otago Community Trust, Clinton Lions Club, Balclutha Round Table, Clinton Bowling Club, T Whiteside, J & J Whiteside and Blackhead Quarries.  Thank you again for your donations - we absolutely love the Turf and Bike Track and anticipate years of fun and fitness for the whole community from both of these new additions.
